The Motto

Ordinary people doing extraordinary things for the Kingdom.

I · The Vision

The outcome we believe God will do.

What we believe God will do

To see ordinary people encounter God in the Upper Room and come out strong, bold, Spirit-filled, and ready to do extraordinary things for the Kingdom.

We are not gathering to host an event. We are gathering because we believe God still meets ordinary people in upper rooms — and what comes out of those rooms changes cities.

II · The Mission

The how. What we actually do.

What we actually do

To create a homegrown space where ordinary people can come out from the noise of this world, wait on the Lord, seek direction, and encounter God — through prayer, worship, and the Word.

Just Jesus at the center. Hungry and thirsty. Trusting God to fill us with His Spirit. Empowered to impact our world.

No known names. No spotlight. No performance.

i. The First Pillar

Prayer

We continue with one accord in prayer and supplication.

"These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication."
— Acts 1:14

ii. The Second Pillar

Worship

We soak in His presence and lift His name.

A room turned toward the One who is worthy.

iii. The Third Pillar

The Word

We sit under Scripture and let it speak.

"You shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you."
— Acts 1:8

"There he will show you a large, furnished upper room — there make ready."

Luke 22:12

III · The Order of the Evening

A liturgy for encounter.

Here's what the four hours actually look like — so nothing feels unfamiliar when you walk in.

  1. Gather

Arrival, welcome, and quiet preparation as the room fills.

You walk in, you're welcomed at the door, you find a seat. Soft music plays. No pressure to talk to anyone.

  2. Worship

Sung praise that turns the heart toward the One who is worthy.

A live band leads songs about God. Stand, sit, sing along, or just listen — whatever feels right.

  3. The Word

Scripture preached with clarity, conviction, and tenderness.

A short, plain teaching from the Bible — about 30 minutes, with something practical to take with you.

  4. The Altar

An open invitation to respond, to surrender, to be prayed for.

A quiet moment where anyone can come forward to be prayed for — about anything. Only if you want to. Nobody is called out.

  5. Sent

Blessing, fellowship, and a benediction into the week ahead.

A closing prayer, then light refreshments and time to talk with anyone you want — or head home.

IV · Before the Day

We hope so — and no. This is Vol. I, with more volumes to come. Hyde Park is where we begin, not where we end. Wherever He leads next, we'll make ready again.
Seating is strictly limited to 150 for Vol. I. We send the exact address to confirmed guests so the room stays prepared and unhurried — and so we can welcome you properly when you arrive.

Yes — kids are welcome and we have a space prepared for them during the program. When you RSVP on Partiful, please note in the questionnaire how many children you'll be bringing so our hospitality team can prepare well.
Come comfortable. There's no dress code. This isn't a performance — it's a gathering.
Doors open at 3:45 PM. The program begins at 4 PM and runs until 8 PM, with time for fellowship after.
